Test cricket-The ultimate

Now cricket has 3 formats.Test,One-day and T-20.And the debate is which one is the best format.Every pattern has its own uniquesness. In test, you need patience and more technique,In one-day less patience but more mental strength and in t-20 no patience and mentally you have to be very strong. Also, you need not be technically strong also. Now world is time dependent and almost everybody has very less time for entertainment. So, t-20 is becoming very popular as its only 3 hrs game and there are only heating the ball, lots of 4′s and 6′s.Thats what spectators wish to watch. They don’t bother about techniques and all, ratherĀ  don’t get chance as the rules of t-20 is only for batsman. In oneday also people wants every match to be hight scoring.Otherwise they feel depressed.Recently, I read in an article that the TRP s pf the sports channels increase drastically in first 10 overs and last 10 overs during a match. The reason is simple. That time power play and slog overs come into pictures and lots of runs scored. What a pity. And the worst thing is about test crecket. Many players are uncertain about the future of this format. Its a five days game throughout the day and scoring rate is very low.But the fact is this is the only format where there is equal facility for both batsman and bowler.Batsman has to be technically perfect to survive and bowler also should have variety to take wickets. So, practically test cricket is the best format of the game from where you can judge a plater.Almost all great players like Tendukar,Ponting,Kalis and many more accept this also.Event the newcomers also tell that his ultimate goal is to play test.I accept that this is somewhat boring format. But this is the ultimate.Whatever new format comes, you can’t deny the value of test cricket. Before maximum tests ended in a draw. But now the situation has changed.80% of tests has results. Scoring rates has been increased also. Now its a balanced game where you can be entertained by both batsman and bowler. So, I urge you to watch more test cricket and judge its value. Please, don’t let this format die.
