Another exiting weekend in sports. In EPL, lots of ups and downs.Most unpredictable result is Manchester City defeated Chelsea by 4-2 in Chelsea’s home match.Bellamy andTevez each scored twice for City while Lampard scored twice for Chelsea.City has won 1st time in 17th years in Stamford Bridge.Thats why you should keep on trying to achive something.Jokes apart, its a very good result for my club, Arsenal. They have won in Stoke City by 3-1.Stroke scored first on 8th minute thanks to Pugh. But Arsenal leveled it by Bendtner. Fabregas increased the lead on 90th minute by penalty and Vermaelen added another at injury time.So, we should be happy.But one very bad news.Our midfielder Ramsey has broken his leg and is out for the rest of the season.These kind of injuries is giving pain to club and supporters this year.Anyway its part of game.Now we are otrailing only by 3 points to Chelsea and 2 to ManU after 28 games.10 more games remaining and I am expecting some more shocking results for Chelsea and ManU.If you remember, in my earlier blog I hoped that Chelsea and ManU might loose some points and exactly that’s happening.Really good sign for Arsenal.
Ok.Enough football discussion and you may feel bored.Come to cricket guys.South Africa at last won some one day in the series.Kalis,AB,Amla,Bossman all scored runs in a useless match against an inexperienced Indian attack.The new youngstars got a chance to prove themselves, but no one really came up with a really good performance to capitalize the break.The Man Of the Series is Sachin.Though I am a blind fan of him, I hardly accepted this decision.How come with one innings he get that award I don’t know.I think Kalis deserved that award.Now the 2nd t-20 between Australia and Newzealand and what a great entertainment!Again Macculum and his explotion.He has invented a new shot-scooping behind the keeper and utilized that shot successfully against all bowlers including couple of 150 kph deliveries from Tait.He became the 2nd man to score a century in a t-20 internatinal.He scored 116 n.o from 56 balls, just a run short of Gayle’s world record.Once I was thinking he would break the record the way he was playing.Unlucky.He scored first 50 runs in 33 balls. You can imagine how much devastating he was in last half of his innings.Newzealand scored 214/6 and when all was damn sure that Australia can’t compete with this huge score, they also came with superb performances by Clark(68),Haddin(47) and White(64 n.o in 26 balls) to level the score.Then superover and Southee bowled a brilliant over to concede only 6 runs.Macculum and Guptil won the match for Nz.One of the greatest match in the history of t-20.
Now time to speak about hockey. World Cup has started in India and on the holi day what a performance from team India.They have thrashed Pakistan by 4-1 in their first match.Now I can hope our people to come and watch the hockey matches with the same interest they see the matches. The hockey team need our supports to do well in the world cup guys! So, plz plz come up and cheer for the Indian hockeythem.
